S is better than Q (Q is the newer 'affordable' series)
Higher number = better
Plus = Auto-empty dock
Ultra = Ultra auto-empty dock (more features)
S = High End
Q = Affordable
# = Generation
Plus = Includes Basic Empty Dock
Ultra = Includes High End Dock (seems to be the triple dock or advanced dock with empty + maintain)
Max/MaxV/Max+ = Think of them like "model facelifts" of each model. Sometimes it's additional features, sometimes it's a more powerful motor.
Pro = Again, seems to be the "facelift" of each model with newer features.
+ = Again, different line of features on each model. It's pretty inconsistent.

Maybe I missed something.
We have s7 maxv ultra for downstairs, and the q5+ for upstairs. S7 was new. Q5+ was refurbished. We lucked out and it was brand new. I'd recommend them
If you are running on carpet, I do suggest you set the app so it runs on high or max power instead of the auto sensing. I find by the time the motor spins up it misses spots.

Tempted to either get a second one for upstairs, or move the Q5+ upstairs (fully carpeted) and buy one with a mop for downstairs. Now that I've seen how well the Q5+ navigates compared to my old robo vac, I would be willing to trust it with liquids/mopping duties.
Unfortunately the self emptying/cleaning mop combos are still pretty expensive.

we use it everyday, for 1 floor, works like a charm, still going strong. no issues. very happy with the purchase. Highly recommend.
Note: we make a solution (water + fabuloso) in sprayer bottle and spray the mop pad with it and it works amazing.
Also, bought some mop pads from amazon, so we change them for each run.
p.s. they do shrink, but still work good.
