Some research for those too lazy to compare the QC45 vs 700:

700
Flagship model, but older than qc45
Metal headband
More elegant design
Ear foam cups are stiffer and sweatier than qc45
5.0 bluetooth vs 5.1 on qc45
21hr battery life vs 24 hrs on qc45
15 min charge=120min playback
More frequency range

Qc45

More comfortable (it's in the name!)
15 min charge =180min playback
Slightly better ANC than 700
Overemphasizes higher frequencies which makes some music sound harsh - can be adjusted in equalizer

Soundguys gives the slight edge to the 700's. But factor in the extra $40 and not worth it for me. The qc45's have more pros in the categories I care about more.

Highly recommend waiting. I recently got the QC45 from Costco (new) for $200. Costco's forever warranty (I checked with worker) is significantly better than whatever this is and it's new.

They're refurbished by Bose. I'd trust that more than Secondipity which has been hit or miss for me.

Wish there were some XM5s for that price.

promo code worked for me. Buying a second pair, I purchased the qc25 bose refurbished by bose on ebay a couple years back and they have worked great, and seemed like new.

I bought some qc35 II refurbs off eBay about a year after they came out. Looked new. Still going strong, just flew 16 hours and went from 100% to 70% charge. Used them the whole time. Ear pads did wear out recently and I replaced them easily. Otherwise no issues. One of the best things I've ever bought. I would buy this deal, but the qc35ii are still working. This is a great deal.

Wow best price I've seen on the QC 45 ever! That's awesome. Would jump, but I already bought a pair for the usual $199 deal price.

I have the original QC35s that were a present soon after they came out and they are awesome. Replaced the ear pads once and aside from the minor annoyance of them being micro USB, they're great.

I don't use them as much as so used to as I use wireless ear buds more often, otherwise I'd be very tempted to pick up the 45s.

I like my xm5. I use it at the office but I do wonder how QC45 would fare against it.
Qc45 are more comfortable and have a way better microphone

I will have to disagree. Microphone was something I heavily looked into since I wanted to use it at the office. I looked up (and heard) comparisons and the xm5 was better. XM4 from Sony weren't that great but XM5 ranked pretty high.
