Standing in line to check out at Sam's can be averted with scan and go on their app. IMO one of the most convenient in store apps I've used. https://www.samsclub.com/content/scan-and-go

Was in Sam's Club yesterday, their gallons of milk was $3.60, it's 2.50 at Walmart, what's up with some items at Sam's Club being more expensive? Then you have to try to find boxes to put your items in, most of the time there are none, then you have to stand in a long line to check out and then a long line to check out again when they inspect your cart before leaving

Do you mind explaining more about Costco? Every time I go in there when it's time to checkout if I'm not the person on the card they say I'm not allowed to purchase anything but at Sam's I use the app get in and purchase items nonstop; in-person, online, in-store, at the registers.

Was in Sam's Club yesterday, their gallons of milk was $3.60, it's 2.50 at Walmart, what's up with some items at Sam's Club being more expensive? Then you have to try to find boxes to put your items in, most of the time there are none, then you have to stand in a long line to check out and then a long line to check out again when they inspect your cart before leaving

Standing in line to check out at Sam's can be averted with scan and go on their app. IMO one of the most convenient in store apps I've used. https://www.samsclub.com/content/scan-and-go

No Sams Clubs in my state and I have Walmart plus so the only reason for me to get this would be if Sams online has good prices. Does anyone know if Sams club online's prices are worth joining for?

Most of the time they're the same price as warehouse prices but you have to pay for shipping. But with plus you get free shipping which is worth it for me since I get 2% back and a lot of things I need are available to ship to me at no additional cost, unlike costco.

Sam's Club does not offer TopTier gasoline which is important to know. This is an additive, similar to Techs in, that helps keep internal parts clean... Only use Sam's Club gasoline when traveling on road trips through most of Western TX and NM.

Prices are higher for most things when compared to Costco. I have found a few things priced less than Costco. Returns are not as easy as Costco. Employees are not as knowledgeable. Self-load your own cart during checkout so you can not watch for cashier errors. Tire&battery service is mostly unprofessional.

Everyone should try it for $15

It's hard for me to justify even $15 given that I am a single tightwad. And I can get in Costco free with a giftcard. (Other side of town though)

Have they had any free recently?

Milk at $2.50 must be some kind of local clearance.
Where I am Whole milk gallon is $3.95 in both.

If you have a gift card to Costco, You can use it to make your purchase regardless if you have an actual membership or not. And if the purchase is more than the balance on the gift card, you can use a debit card for the balance owed. So if you have somebody buy you some $10 (or whatever amount) gift cards, you can just use those instead of paying for a membership.
