Price went down further. I posted about this deal yesterday at $129 i happened to open the Home Depot app today and saw it was now $104.97. So I ordered again and will return the previous deal.

Seems likes a good deal discounted off regular price and includes a free 2.0ah battery. Best price in history I see for this sander was $85.20 this past April without a battery.

Is the battery hackable? I really don't need more small batteries.

How do you tell? I've never hacked any Home Depot purchases though I understand the concept. I actually have the opposite problem with batteries. All are big and I have no small ones. Until now.

If it says "Buy this get this free" and it has you select a free item, then it splits it into two separate line items. This one does not have that

I don't have any M18 batteries, but I have lots of M12 and Ryobi batteries. Was going to ask anyone how this compares to Ryobi, but just watched a project farm video and surprised that the Ryobi ended up beating or matching the M18 on most of the tests. The Ryobi one is $59, or $109 for a 2 sander combo.

I'm sure lots of Slickdealers have plenty of Ryobi batteries, I would encourage you to watch the project farm test

If you're already in an ecosystem, it really influences purchases. I don't want another tool brand that's incompatible with all my M12/M18 stuff. Unfortunately, that rules the Ryobi out for me. Two sets of batteries and tools is plenty.

Agreed, don't need another battery. Did the hack for $89. Only issue is must take battery back to store.

Oh yeah absolutely. I just happen to have lots of Ryobi batteries so was just letting people know how it compares since there are lots of battery Ryobi deals.

Are you sure this is hackable? I didn't see the separate prices.

"This" meaning what?
Sorry I should have been more clearer. This one for $105 because the battery is only $16 more. You easily sell it for more than that or just keep it.

Unless you don't think the battery is worth $16.

I'd there a different link to make this hackable? Might have to cancel and reorder.
