Unless it's been patched, the ps4 version on standard/pro is still locked to 30fps. Quick Google didn't clarify if it's been updated, but just wanted to share!

I just price matched at Target. I don't feel like dealing with more "new" games from Gamestop. Had bad luck with my recent order and need to go to a store to return several games.

Price matched Target as well. I gave GameStop a chance earlier in the year as a "pro" member and got burned one too many times. On one occasion they accepted my order for pickup to only cancel it 15 minutes before closing. In another occasion the cashier said I could use an in-store reward for an item which turned out to be false. The nail in the coffin was when they took away the free shipping perk for pro members if you ordered $49 worth of stuff. $79 for free shipping is a joke.

Platform holders have a stranglehold on ecosystem pricing (look at Apple, or Oracle). Nintendo has always kept their prices artificially high, and 3rd party publishers never seem to mind too much.

Dang. Didn't really notice this game back in the day since it was on PSP and I have a huge backlog of games already, but I'm a lifelong FF fan and love FF7 Remake. Is this worthwhile??

I think its worth playing for a fan but man is the story hot garbage (mostly the Genesis parts). Also, at least 60% of the game is the same 10 missions or so recycled over and over with different random enemies and feels like total filler (think of most of the missions in Metal Gear Peace Walker if you ever played that or early MMO type fetch quests - I think this type of gameplay worked well on the PSP for people who played in 10 minute spurts here and there). Besides that, there are a couple of highs, the music is great, the combat is mostly fun, and there is some cool lore for fans.
