An immersion blender automatically eliminates two of the more inconvenient aspects of blending: the lid popping off when you’re blending something hot and having to clean the container after you’re done. Built for versatility, this blender has a powerful motor and variable speed control dial for everything from those tough-to-chop frozen fruits to delicate creams. Its large size lets you blend even in deep pots, with minimal splattering. And since it’s cordless, you can take it anywhere, even the patio for mixing drinks. There are also a variety of accessories you can add, like a whisk and chopper, so you can do even more prep work.

Okay - so I'm a HUGE all clad fan but $330 for an immersion blender?? I can't imagine what an immersion blender of that price can add to the normal household. All IMHO of course. Good looking appliance though. Beware of bad reviews.

Unfortunately, there is a negative review about the battery crapping out after a max of around 2-2.25 years here and several such on Amazon, and it appears it only has a 2 year warranty by some posts.
Also, starting I think Oct 25th, Costco will have a Cuisinart plug-in complete immersion blender kit with various attachments and such on sale for $30 online and in-store (member pricing).... I know there are differences in brands, and plugged vs battery, but the extra features, no battery worries, and Costco warranty... I'd seriously consider that one over this one.
How hard is it really to just plug in to a nearby socket for the extra power and likely reliability?

Exactly, I hate that this is yet another li-ion battery that isn't user-replaceable... and yeah I have zero plans on blending away from a wall socket haha. I wish I had known about the Costco deal! It's just starting to be soup weather!

I have the black version of this immersion blender and absolutely love it. No issues with battery for over a year, and we use it all the time (not daily, but usually several times a week). Was crucial when blending baby food. I got this deal to give as a gift. Thanks OP, great find!
