Unfortunately, there is a negative review about the battery crapping out after a max of around 2-2.25 years here and several such on Amazon, and it appears it only has a 2 year warranty by some posts.
Also, starting I think Oct 25th, Costco will have a Cuisinart plug-in complete immersion blender kit with various attachments and such on sale for $30 online and in-store (member pricing).... I know there are differences in brands, and plugged vs battery, but the extra features, no battery worries, and Costco warranty... I'd seriously consider that one over this one.
How hard is it really to just plug in to a nearby socket for the extra power and likely reliability?
