YCW is incredibly and surprisingly fun. Both my 5 and 12 year old love it. I even enjoy playing it and graphics are great too.

Yoshi game is surprisingly fun. Bought it a couple yrs ago during a $2 target digital game glitch sale. Got stuck at a certain part of the game and didn't collect enough flowers to surpass further. Otherwise I'd play it more

YCW is a great couch co-op game to play with younger kids. There's an option to enable unlimited air jumping and makes it a little easier to get passed trickier sections. Some timed elements are going to be a challenge but most are for bonus flowers and won't stop you from completing the level.
