Unless you are a small adult or child, these one-person hammocks aren't very comfortable, go for the double sized/two-person hammocks they are suitable for an average sized adult and are much more comfortable.

$10.00 plus shipping under $35 if you don't have Walmart Plus. If anyone is looking for a double hammock option. This one says it is rated for 550lbs. Just another option that I only found because of the help of the OP!

7 feet seems really short to me. The double hammocks we have are 10' long, and I've heard people recommend 12' for overnight sleeping. I'd probably look for a minimum of 9' for a single hammock personally. Although if saving every ounce is important to you, and you're just looking to use it for a shorter period of time maybe the smaller size is an advantage.

Info on hammock:
The Hammock weighs less than 2 pounds yet is strong enough to hold up to 300 Lbs. It's made with a strong yet soft, lightweight weather resistant, quick-drying & breathable high grade Nylon material.

I own several as they go on sale for cheap and sometimes cheaper to get the whole set than buy new straps. However the straps for this look really odd / bad to me. But they are amazing. Great for biking and resting in the woods by a creek. Smilie

If Steve Wallis (Camping With Steve) has tought me anything, it's to not cheap out on the hammock and go with something along the lines of a Hennessy Hammock 4-Season. When setting hammocks up, watch out for the widowmakers above, and be nice to the trees, and don't use bare tree straps.

This hammock is also far from stealthy, more just a backyard toy than serious camping gear.

Stay stealthy and don't forget Step 2.

Length is important for comfort. I've found that shorter hammocks or hammocks that aren't strung fairly tightly, can be uncomfortable for me. I think it has to do with the angles, since if your hammock is short or hung loosely, it takes a pronounced U shape when you lay in it, which hurts my knees because I can't lay straight. My big 2-person hammock is more comfortable, although I'm about 6' so significantly shorter people may find that shorter hammocks are okay. With a wider one you can also lay sort of diagonal and find the best angle for you.

This is a heck of price though. You can pay this much just for the tree straps, easy. I might grab a couple for gifts for people who would only use them a little bit at festivals rather than trying to sleep a lot in them. No big loss if the hammocks suck, as I can consider them a throw-in if we end up saving the straps for use with 2-person hammocks.

I strongly recommend against a 2 person unless you plan on using for 2 people. Being 6' 4" I bought several doubles rather than just getting a long single. The problem is that they are so wide that they engulf you, defeating the point of a hammock. I literally lay with my legs out to push the sides down and allow breeze in. Correct size trumps price anyday.

Initially, I thought you were sarcastic about quality Smilie
