1 month and counting until the new season starts...

Any ideas on how this seasons going to go? The only previews/clips I've seen is Jack wondering around what looks like Arizona, and he answers his cellphone "How did you get this number?" I have no idea what's going to happen... and that's what i love Evil

This was the 1st Mon. in several months that didn't have "24". Sadwalk

And unfortunately, those rumors of another network picking up "24" were negated. The only hope we have (and it's a good one) is for a movie, which would be a sequel to these 8 seasons.

But I took a peak at IMDB [imdb.com] about the movie. It just refers to 2012 as the release date, but offers little detail. Does anyone have an IMDBPro account? If so, it seems like that would offer some more details about the movie.

Also, over the weekend, I got into a discussion w/ a friend about Chuck Norris vs. Jack Bauer. He never watched "24", but he is somewhat familiar w/ the premise of the show and the character. I just told him this simple fact [jackbauerfacts.com], which ended our debate. Cool

'24' star pulls name from Emmy contention [cnn.com]

Over the past month I have watched Seasons 1 and 2 of 24 on netflix... I miss it so much and wish it was still going on Frown

I own th first season on dvd..I might have to watch other seasons on netflixs tho Smilie

Yes, it rocks. Berkeley's character is a bit of a d-bag in the movie, but even though he look much older and has a white beard in the movie, it was good to see him b/c it reminded me of "24". Cool

Does anyone here have an IMDB Pro account? If so, apparently there are more details available for the "24" movie than what the standard imdb.com site offers.

This isn't about "24" but about one of the actors, Bob Gunton [imdb.com]. He was Ethan Kanin in the show. I finally saw "The Shawshank Redemption" that a friend lent me on DVD and immediately recognized the warden from that movie as Ethan from "24". He was an evil SoB in the movie. If I had seen the movie first and then "24", I probably would've cheered when Ethan suffered the heart attack. Talk about playing opposite roles! And he did both very well. Cool

And yes, I still miss "24". Sadwalk

Kiefer Sutherland was on the Jimmy Fallon show on Mon. night. He mentioned that "24" the movie is expected to start shooting in January 2012 and the movie is expected to be out in July 2012. He also confirmed it will not be in real time, but rather, the 2-hr. movie will represent a 24-hr. day.
