Bought this in Oct (or Nov?) 2022 when it was discounted to $600+ from Samsung website. Never regret the purchase.

According to info online, it's 120Hz VA panel 1800R, but personally I don't feel uncomfortable about its color.

I don't get the hate either. With firmware update there is zero flickering. It's arguably the cheapest/fastest 49" at this price. Only negative is how bulky and heavy it is. I ended up rigging my own clamp for it because the options are very limited

The alienware 38" ultrawide on sale for $799 right now is a better deal. Higher resolution and refresh rate on a IPS panel.
