I have this camera and use it for client work. The lens is good for a kit lens, probably my favorite kit lens that I've used--great if you're just coming over to the system and are looking to start off. It is still a kit lens though, so while you can use it for client work its not great in indoor environments. The camera itself is spectacular though, I was using a Sony A7IV before this and I prefer this camera by a mile. Autofocus was better on the Sony, but everything else feels better with the Lumix S5IIX.

Note: I do both videography and photography for clients.

Thanks for your feedback! I am thinking about selling my Sony a7 IV now.

This doesnt have OLPF [Optical Low Pass Filter] in case anyone was wondering. So the video and photos will look sharper but you may have issue with moiré.

What exactly do you mean by "better than a mile"? Bigger buffer? Better handling? Better viewfinder? Better battery? Color science? Rear screen? Menu system?

As a Sony shooter for the last decade, why should I switch from my a7riii? I'm certainly open to a genuine upgrade, I just need legit reasons to do it. Sony AF, low light ability and overall Iq have kept me over the years spanning several different bodies on a and e-mount.

I've considered moving to a Q2, but I talk myself out of it every time.
