They should be giving this crap out for free.
They used to give out bumper stickers for free. When I first came to California, I saw them on all the surfer's cars, and couldn't understand what they were. The bumper stickers were modified to look like this:

I don't see free shipping. They want to charge $6.85 for priority mail.

Paying money to advertise for a company just like wearing any branded merchandise. Just like all the people who spend their free time for $0 writing reviews on Yelp and Tripadvisor and never get paid a dollar to do it. Spend your time how you like, but I don't work, advertise or promote for free when avoidable. It's funny to see non-CA vehicles driving around with ghastly, emblazoned dealer emblems - the first thing I did when buying my new car was telling them to keep the license plate racks. They asked why and that they were included and I said that I don't advertise for free (and of course stealerships are one of the more evil businesses that have ever existed).
News flash. Every article of clothing you wear advertises that brand.

I agree with the sentiment, but I think you're a bit extreme. For example, it's one thing to buy and wear Nikes because they're known for making shoes. It's a little weird buying shoes by a company that makes burgers. I debadged my motorcycle and wear cheap blank t-shirts...or just indie weird one etc, but there is nothing wrong with helping out a business you enjoyed. Reviews help everyone. If you say you've never read a review before watching a movie or buying a product, I'd call you a liar. If you have and still hold this view, you'd just be a hypocritical mooch who enjoys the benefits of other's good works.

Cool story. Do you also fully debadge your car? That is same as wearing a Nike shirt otherwise. How about household appliances? Take those labels off too?
Sir, this is a Wendy's.
