In. Yes it has sucralose. Yes I don't care. As long as it doesn't have aspartame. Nasty stuff (tastes nasty to me and gives me headaches).

This seems rather hard to find in my area in Phoenix. Sam's Club might be the only place and even then, there are only 2 in a 50 mile radius that have the strawberry lemonade but none have the plain.

As a diabetic, I look for diet alternatives, and I don't care if its NutraSweet, sucralose, or any other artificial sweetener (except , for Saccarin, which scares me).
I just try to avoid brown sodas, as they also have phosphoric acid, which I avoid for other health reasons. In for 3.

I used to get this stuff when I had a Sam's membership but I did the math and figured out it's cheaper and more delicious to make your own.

I buy the 2 liter bottles of concentrated lemon juice from Costco (when I don't get lemons from family that I can extract more pure lemon flavor from the peels), the tiny ginger extract juice bottles at Sprout, make a liter of a sugar-free simple syrup using my artificial sweetener of choice + a very tiny amount of food-grade citric acid + boiling water that I let cool (so that the sweetener doesn't separate if immediately shocked by cold temps) then store in the fridge. Then I just combine the ingredients in gallon batches.

It took me a few batches to get the portions right for the perfect flavor but nowadays I don't even bat an eye and it comes out perfect. There's also the additional benefit that you can use the ingredients for other purposes which really gets you the best bang for your buck. I use lemon juice for smoothies and salad dressing, the sweetener syrup for smoothies, sauces and other drinks that I want to quickly add some sweetness to and the citric acid for pickling and cleaning.

Fake sugar should be labeled as fake sugar, not sugar free.

Still sugar free with fake sugar. Label is correct.

Maybe companies should be forced to more clearly label artificial sweeteners but sucralose has virtually no effect on my GI so for me, it is quite the opposite of sugar.

I prefer the True Lemonade powder mix - it's only 1g of sugar (also has stevia). I am not diabetic so I have no idea how 1g of sugar can spike levels. I think a box of 10 powder packets is about $2.50 at Target and Walmart. I add it to cold brewed iced tea for a lower-cal Arnold Palmer.
