Best HBO series since Arli$$! I mean, if they only had two shows and the third option was getting punched in the junk. /s

As long as you go into it knowing it's entertainment and not educational, you might be ok. Maybe.

It's the show that convinced me to stop subscribing to HBO. Meanwhile, Generation Kill (came out right after this) was really good.

Marcus Aurelius - best character ever. i don't care if it is historically accurate or not. to me the whole show is great but the early gladiator stuff is THE BEST!
