I don't drink coffee but I use instant coffee grounds for ninja creami protein ice cream recipes. Is this better than folgers? Also light roast might be a good option since I don't want a too strong taste

I believe the point was "the smell" playing a bigger role in coffee being appealing in the first place. I sort of agree - having known a couple of people quit coffee when they lost their sense of smell (long lasting) after contracting COVID.
