FYI, the 16GB/512GB was on sale at Costco for $899 for many months.

Still, this is an excellent price for this laptop. I am glad the 32GB version is finally on sale for a reasonable price jump over the 16GB. In the past, going from the 16GB to 32GB cost at least $400, which immediately killed it for me. The $100 extra (comparing sale prices) for it is a no brainer.

Fantastic price for these specs and size. I returned a similar one due to the awkwardness of the keyboard but there's really nothing to lose trying it out from Costco. They even refunded the shipping cost when I returned it.

Wow, this is a great deal. I would expect this price for Black Friday but for the lesser version with 16GB RAM and 512 GB SSD.

Yes, agreed! This is a phenomenal price for this model. Normally, LG charges far too much for the incremental jumps in specifications.

This price may be low enough to avoid the (typical) negative comments about how overpriced these are in comparison to other manufacturer's models… when in reality, there is no comparison.

These are absolutely unbeatable for their intended audience. They may not be great for gaming or other heavy-duty / processor intensive purposes, but they are incomparable for travel. Especially if you want a lot of screen real estate for productivity purposes.

Sigh... I bought the 16Gb/512Gb a few weeks ago for $900 and spent several hours setting it up with my apps, settings, and software upgrades etc. But now am seriously tempted to switch to this.

Is there a trivial way to just transfer over my configurations and installed software between LG laptops?

So is this touchscreen or not? In the Costco description, it says non-touchscreen, but in the second or 3rd pic down in the description, it clearly has a woman touching the screen to zoom in/out (because inspiration can happen anywhere).

Was it the numeric keypad? I wish the numbers were on top, not a fan of keypad on right like this. Very tempted though. And only 2.98 lbs

Do they typically keep these in store? Or is it order online only?

There is nothing else on the market that is so light (3lb) with such a large screen (17"). I'm a big fan of keypads and this one has a nice 4 column one, which mimics full-size desktop keyboards.

Lenovo have even better keyboards with keypads but for some smaller size laptops ie 15" screen, they only include a 3 column keypad. I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 5, 15.6" screen laptop with 4 column keypad and slightly off-center arrows (allows keys to be larger) which I considered the best layout on the market. Nagging points are that it's 4.5lb which is still pretty decent for such a large laptop but you can definitely feel the weight when you hold it one handed.

The other important point to note is that the LG gram has an evo CPU. It will have less noise but the useful life will be shorter. My IdeaPad has a full powered CPU so I do have to deal with underbelly heat and some noise fan which I don't mind. I don't have a desktop so my laptops are my main machines.
