FYI, the 16GB/512GB was on sale at Costco for $899 for many months.

Still, this is an excellent price for this laptop. I am glad the 32GB version is finally on sale for a reasonable price jump over the 16GB. In the past, going from the 16GB to 32GB cost at least $400, which immediately killed it for me. The $100 extra (comparing sale prices) for it is a no brainer.

Screaming deal on a 17" ultra-thin with 1440p display and other great specs.

Only thing with LG is their laptops look so generic.

So is this touchscreen or not? In the Costco description, it says non-touchscreen, but in the second or 3rd pic down in the description, it clearly has a woman touching the screen to zoom in/out (because inspiration can happen anywhere).
It is not. There is a different very similar model that is touch.

Sorry for this question, but how will this laptop work with the ultrawide 3440 x 1440 monitor @ 100 Hz? https://www.cdw.com/product/lg-35...6981086#TS

Will it work any worse than with my old HP Spectre 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) OLED? Will the picture be shortened or blurred on the external monitor? Thanks.

I have been a long time GRAM user. I have moved to MacBook since then.
It is a great laptop if you need to use Windows OS.
I suggest you to consider MacBook with M series CPU.

I bought the 15.6" last year but the wireless connection was really bad. Also the system date & time cannot update automatically when I didn't use it for a while. What a disappointment for an expensive laptop.

Any modern laptop including your spectre will work just fine with that monitor. If you're getting blurriness, it's because you need to dial up the resolution setting on the laptop.

I really want LG made Gram or another thin and light laptop lines with AMD chips. I love their Gram but Intel, meh, could be better. No offense, but AMD is more efficient for laptop and could use a lil light gaming on side.

I don't think it is integrated; They listed "Intel Iris Xe" in the specs, which is discrete. The laptop with 16GB RAM has integrated graphics card.
What he's trying to say is that it's not an NVIDIA/AMD video card which blows away the Iris.

This thing has horrific speakers. Sounds muddy and like from a tin can. They are underneath the laptop, so they fire downward. If you hold the laptop with the bottom towards your face, it's actually ok, but then you can't see the screen anymore.

Honestly, I've had a bunch of laptops from several brands, including a couple with supposed premium sound, and the speakers on all of them have sucked. My newest MSI is great except for the speakers, which don't even get as loud as a crumby Toshiba from 15 years ago.
