I haven't used either model exactly, but I have a Biobidet (6800) and a Toto (C5), obviously a bit different price points. I've been happy with both but the C5 is my favorite. This seems like a good deal for the features, as usually they start around $200 on sale with the dryer.

Edit: After looking more closely it appears it's a lower price because there is no remote functionality or additional functions. Looks like just a knob to control it. Might be nice if you don't want to deal with a bunch of buttons to use it. I'm actually more of a fan of the ones with the control panel on the side, as opposed to a remote.
I will go with Toto. It has a control panel and all the features sound like it could last forever.

The only thing I don't have is an electrical outlet near the toilet. I'll have to hire a handyman to make a new outlet.

For anyone who's on the fence about a bidet, I recently bought a cheap/simple "LUXE Bidet NEO 120" when it was on sale on Amazon and it's been a great entry level bidet which does not have any extra features like dryer or warm water but it also doesn't require an outlet to power it. It's powered by the water pressure. I'm not super handy and I was able to install it myself. There are plenty of other options with good reviews. I just chose the luxe because it was a great sale price at the time.

I recently house-sat at a place which doesn't have a bidet and it felt so wrong not using it. I suppose that could be considered a downside of having one at home.

I'm considering upgrading to something like the one in this deal but I'm concerned that my old electrical system won't support it. The main feature I'm tempted by is dryer since a wet bhole area has been the only "downside" I've noticed with the simple/cheap bidet setup. Toilet paper works fine for drying but it would be nice to not have to use that at all if a dryer does the trick.

I have a mechanical, water only version and love it. I used to have electrical Toto but it stopped working after a few years. Non electric works great.

Yes it is. But can have three outlets downstream from an existing GFCI.

Lower the water pressure to reduce gross overspray and eliminate under seat cleaning.

Btw, dryer does not work well since don't have time to wait.

Besides much more hygiene to wipe and double check

Seems to me you can get a device you can feed your toilet 50% hot and %50 cold to keep your toilet from filling with only cold water causing the tank and bowl to have condensation leaving a constant wet floor. If I get one of the mechanical ones, I would go that route.. I think they are adjustable to if you need to adjust the mixture.. I tried to google it for a link, but the name of the device escapes me. You could always add some sort of temper tank to help make it "bear"able.

I was hesitant as well to get a non-electric one but don't find cold water a problem at all...even on a cold morning. Spent $25 at the time for a non-electric one that is independent from toilet seat

how much is your home ins deductible. be prepare for before and after hand. before is if he got electricuted. after is if your house got burndown.

you can hire a handyman to hook up your ceiling fan or change the light bulbs but never ever let him run any wire especially inside the wall. a licensed electrican who can do this type of work nearly and safely would charge at least $250 for the job.

That's what I thought. If changing an outlet is easy, adding a new outlet is also kinda easy. I just don't have all the tools.

I'll just get a handyman to do it. 3 bathrooms, 3 new outlets.
Changing outlet doesn't need to run wires, installing new one do.

Not at all. I love my $30 bidet from Costco. Bear in mind I already have a GFCI behind the toilet, and I still prefer this simple water only version. Maybe eventually I'll replace the entire toilet with a fancy Japanese one like Randy in South Park. Anyway if anyone is held up with getting a bidet due to lack of electrical outlet, just get a mechanical one. It's life changing.

Not feedback for this product:

I bought a bidet during the pandemic of 2021. And since then, then I cannot live without a bidet.

If you have never used a bidet but you are optimistic and you think it'll be amazing, then you're in for a surprise because it's better than you can imagine and easily the best purchase you will ever make.

Behind my toilet is a hallway with an outlet that isn't on my bathroom circuit. I just cut out the hallway box so I could wire in a gfci outlet on the other side of the hallway outlet. Took about a hour or so.

The only thing I wasn't sure of is the hallway is 15a white Romex and I'm pretty sure bathrooms are supposed to be wired with 20a yellow romex. Not that the bidet draws that much power. Anyways since it is a outlet with a specific purpose I think per code it would pass inspection.

Can you wire these without causing the lights to flicker? I haven't seem anyone I know personally who doesn't have this issue.

I know it's easy, my friend. I don't have the proper tools. It's easier to have the handyman do it.
