Was interested in this but wanted one with a fingerprint reader as well; Walmart has the C220 with fingerprint and a couple other upgrades for $99 after coupon that was on the page.

That channel is so useless. Yea, no shit a lock can be picked or broken into if someone tries hard enough.

I have this lock it gets the job done. Be warned you can't make copy of the keys. The lock uses keys that are longer than the one you get at Home Depot and so it won't copy easily. Just know if you get this you will
Only have two set of keys.

wow, $270 more for this model with video. I don't get that price difference, so meh, I'll keep my puchbutton lock.

I've had it about 3 months. Lock works well. App is decent enough. Apparently controls will not integrate into home assistant but you can pull the status of the lock.

That one has finger print and chime/bell as well. I have that one and it's great.

Not this specific lock but I do have the Eufy deadbolt with fingerprint and it works well. I don't have issues with connectivity to my WiFi and access from anywhere. It uses the same app as my cameras. Notifications are nice and being able to give multiple users their own codes lets me know when my kids are coming and going. Battery life is pretty good. My door faces west so sunsets blast it at the end of the day and it can get pretty hot between my glass storm door and my metal door but it hasn't impacted the lock. I've probably had it a year and no issues.

Eufy has a terrible reputation for their cameras and their locks. It's a company to avoid altogether. Here's another model picked by LPL: https://youtu.be/wME4qvu678c?si=O04uBG41ujfl1l5O

I don't know anything about this item but I own several of their cameras and I've been really happy with them. I only buy the ones that are (or will be) Homebase 3 compatible though. Not so sure about their plain 2.4GHz only devices...

I have 2 fingerprint Eufy locks. They're absolutely awful. The biometric reader is flaky. The deadbolt is constantly getting confused between locked and unlocked. The software is crap.

IMO, buy your locks from a lock company like Schlage.

Compare to what's out there, I don't think any company can beat Eufy. The cameras and locks are tops, they may not be perfect, like the AI. The Eufy AI is not the best compared to Google, I wish Google would invest more into Nest. Still Eufy is cheaper and more reliable than any brand I've tried. Glad to see you can add extra storage in the new Home Base now.

It's fine. My only complain is the digital buttons, sometimes they are not that responsive. Unlocking on my Apple Watch is laggy, better on the app. But overall for the price it's good. Does have auto lock that I set after being unlocked for 2 minutes.

Love my Eufy cameras. If someone is going through the effort to break into unencrypted video feeds then they'll have no problem simply cutting my power to get access to my home. No one is going to spy on the outside of my house.

Eufy is a good solid brand. I have the cameras and locks for my current home.
