I have this lock it gets the job done. Be warned you can't make copy of the keys. The lock uses keys that are longer than the one you get at Home Depot and so it won't copy easily. Just know if you get this you will
Only have two set of keys.

Love my Eufy cameras. If someone is going through the effort to break into unencrypted video feeds then they'll have no problem simply cutting my power to get access to my home. No one is going to spy on the outside of my house.
With that attitude, why buy locks for your door? If someone is gonna break into your house, they'll have no problem smashing a window?

I have the C220 and love it. I have mixed feelings about eufy cameras and was worried this would have the same connectivity issues, but no, it responds to app commands quickly.

Because I have some level of logic. The vast majority of crimes are crimes of convenience, cameras and difficult locks stop those. A hammer is the only key anyone needs to defeat any lock and cameras don't honestly change anything logistically, but they have a psychological impact.

Eufy has a terrible reputation for their cameras and their locks. It's a company to avoid altogether. Here's another model picked by LPL: https://youtu.be/wME4qvu678c?si=O04uBG41ujfl1l5O
Have 4 of the Eufy solar wifi cameras, they work great ( other than the AI identification of birds as human )

Replaced my August locks with these to narrow my ecosystem. They do not know when the door is open or closed. They claimed it, "geosynchronous" whatnot, but it doesn't work. Wide open door bolt will lock and app will report locked/secure.

Other than that the price/hardware ratio is good, it's average quality but not unsafe and significantly cheaper than competitors. The only other issue I remember is having to shave the bolts because the unit pretty thin.

The not knowing if the door is really shut or not kills it for me, but if that isn't an issue or you check your door camera, then it's a good enough deal.

Edit: I also got their fingerprint model. Stay away. It works great for the first week, then gets worse over time. You create another fingerprint, exact same issue. I don't even bother using the fingerprint anymore because it always takes at least 3 tries.

I have this model and am pleased with it.

A big pro for me was that it's about the same size and color as the manual one it replaced so there are no unsightly marks on the door body.

I too wish it had a fingerprint reader but entering the code is very easy and on the way out, you can lock it with a single long press.

We were away on a trip and it was nice to be able to give neighbors their own codes and access times to gain access.

Only negative thing I have to say is that the auto lock doesn't know if door is open so sometimes (putting trash out say) I leave the door open, it auto locks and then when I come back in, I close the door and the exposed deadbolt dents the door frame.

This user isn't wrong about Eufy. They knowingly never patched known security flaws which led to thousands of compromised accounts and I can attest to their poor cameras and lack of support. Once Eufy has your money they do not care

Does anyone know if this has Matter support so I can use on Home Assistant?

I'm getting sick and tired of waiting to see if Lockly will start supporting matter and I'm tired of the bridge Bluetooth not properly working!

Edit: No fingerprint reader, no buy. Lockly has me by the balls!

That channel is so useless. Yea, no shit a lock can be picked or broken into if someone tries hard enough.
Yep. If a lock has a key hole, he can pick it. If you really need too, glue the keyhole. There is a USB for charging in case the lock runs out.

If i am paranoid I would glue the keyhole and use my garage door to gain access in case the battery runs out and I don't have a portable charge.

Was interested in this but wanted one with a fingerprint reader as well; Walmart has the C220 with fingerprint and a couple other upgrades for $99 after coupon that was on the page.

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Anker-...1547456853

look for small link under the price that says "extra savings available"
I would suggest to get the fingerprint one for $20 more. It takes about 1 second to read vs 8 numbers you have to punch in. Another benefit to get the fingerprint version, if you have kids, you can have them use fingerprints only, not the pins. It prevents them from sharing to their pins to a "trusted" friend.

I've been using Eufy fingerprint smart lock for more than a year and I have no complaints. Works all the time. You can check lock status from anywhere and lock/unlock remotely through app. Add multiple finger prints and secret codes for different users. Battery works for more than 8 months and then you can recharge in 3-4 hours. Have not tried other brands to compare but didn't feel to try another brand. Sometimes I need to touch my finger twice to make it read my finger impression but that's not a big issue, takes additional 2-3 seconds.
