Also, the wrench is the same. 1/2" HP.

The impact wrenches in the two deals are both 1/2" HP but they are different tools. This one is high torque (PBLIW01) whereas the other one is P262. The difference is pretty obvious when you check the specs.
Anyhow, this was delivered earlier today which surprised me. It beat the delivery of last weeks deal which is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Substantially bigger and heavier than the other weak impact wrench I bought. I'm looking forward to trying out the automatic mode. The fact that you toggle the modes with a button has me wondering if the wrench has some small parasitic draw on the battery to remember settings?
The included charger (PCG002) might be faster than the one I've been using (P118) even though I think they are rated the same. I'll be swapping out chargers as this new one is both more compact and faster charging. One difference though is the P118 has an internal converter while the PCG002 has a wall wart.

1/2 of these free tools are a joke. Do you think anyone would buy this without the hack?
I have the older model rated at 300ft/lb, and that one already does wheel nut & 8" screw. This new one is rated at 1170ft/lb.
Who needs an impact wrench rated for 1170ft/lb of torque? Is everyone a mechanic here?
