Or just use their "service direct" program to print a free shipping label, send it to them, and get a new or repaired one back in a week or two. For batteries, it's just a quick phone call and new ones are on their way. It may not be called a "warranty", but the LSA is the best power tool lifetime service and support program available.

Good question i got the ryobi and it gets hot with the cars takes forever with the trucks but it works. I wonder if this is any better i have maybe 8 Ridgid batteries.
I'm pretty sure they both have a duty cycle of 5 min. Both will eventually burn up if you don't give them a break every five or so minutes.

Just my opinion but of the fourteen (14) Ridgid tools that I own and use ... the inflator is the most disappointing. It is loud and seems to take forever to do the job.

I got a warning about having to make purchases at the same location when attempting the hack. When I pushed through to check out it got hung up and wouldn't load. Maybe it's the app but ymmv on this.

1. On the product page for the inflator, scroll down and use the "Get this item for free with a qualifying purchase" to Add the inflator and the $179 battery kit to cart

2. Select different pickup stores for each item (select the store you actually want to pickup from for the inflator)

3. Place order

4. Immediately go to your order history and cancel only the battery pack

You will retain the discount price for the inflator and can pick it up.

I just did it for this inflator so it definitely works. It may take some playing around with selecting pickup stores to get it to allow you to place the order.
I got the first 3 steps, but there's no option to cancel the order. It only has a 'Buy Again' option. Does it take time for 'cancel order' to show up?

This is actually one of my favorites, it's loud but I think most portable compressors like this are loud.

For those trying to get this hack to work on a PC here are the steps that had to take

Step 1a) Set your store to the location where you'd like to pick the item up.

Step 1b) Add the inflator to the cart

Step 1c) Change the location to a different location (where you wont be picking the promotional items)

Step 1d) Go back to the product page for the tire inflator

Step 1e) On the product page for the inflator, scroll down and use the "Get this item for free with a qualifying purchase" to Add the inflator and the $179 battery kit to cart

Step 2) Now go to your cart and verify cart contents and that each product reflects the pick up locations of the 2 different stores. The page should warn you that you are selecting 2 different locations.

3. Place order

Note:
***I have not been able to cancel my order from the order history yet but my assumption is even if I cannot... The item will eventually be refunded if its not picked up within a certain window of time.

I will try to cancel the batteries again once I have picked up the inflator.

4. Go to your order history and cancel only the battery pack

To cancel the order you can contact customer support via text (38698) - ask to cancel the item you don't need (you have to get to a real person, the bot won't be able to do this)

I don't have an option to cancel neither in the app nor on the website.

"Integrity", now decreased by returning something for a clearly stated value on a vendors receipt..?
Interesting.

I've had this for a while and was a bit disappointed with it at first. But I use it way more than I thought and I'm very happy with it now for what I use it for. Topping off tires, bicycle/trailer tires, my air powered bait launcher (think potato gun). If you're airing down for off road driving and want to air back up, this is not the inflator for you. You'll need something with more oomph and longer cycle times.

Does anyone currently have this, and could comment on the plastic quick connect nozzle?

Curious on if it seals well and if it has lasted any amount of time of general use.

good deal and i'd definitely get this if I didn't already own two of the ryobi inflators. These things are super handy.

Home Depot is a $150 billion dollar company. This hack has been around for years and thousands upon thousands of orders have been placed this way. You know Home Depot's IT department knows about it. If they cared about it, they would have done something about it a long time ago like they did with other hacks (remember the reusable $15 off $15 coupon?). They clearly don't and probably realize it's driving a lot of business to their website.
