Most of what Olight sells is overpriced, but the i3e EOS for $5 is what I consider to be the gold standard of a keychain flashlight.

Yes there are brighter lights, smaller lights, and tougher lights out there. But this is about as small/lightweight as you can get for a AAA light, simple to operate, and it's $5. It throws enough light to help you see what you need to for many tasks, and it's no big deal to buy one for every drawer/bag/vehicle you have. Put a non-rechargeable AAA lithium in one and it will be ready to use for years.

Olight is amazing. I placed an order with the Oct 3rd freebie and it was slightly delayed. Just a couple of days. They sent me a $10 code and I added a few bucks to that buying batteries and clips for some i3Es I was going to give as gifts. They gave me free shipping. Then tonight I logged in to get the Halloween i3e and they gave me a i5T Halloween version as well, along with another apology. And then free shipping to boot! These are my kind of people!
EDIT: The i5T was for the September delay, not October.

Dislike the twist the cap to power on lights, to easy to accidentally come on or unscrew too far to make sure it stays off.

If they want to do it this way to reduce cost, complexity, or failure of a physical switch, there should be a positive click on/off on twist.

I got that laser, UV, 1300 lumen aluminum light plus 2 of the small keychain lights for $58 after tax last night. I bought the previous bundle lest month but sent it back after the announced this deal. I liked the lights and this one is the new upgrade. I guess the lights also have lifetime warranty. I have other quality lights but I realized I prefer pocketable little brings lights because I end up not taking the bigger ones anywher and use my iPhone light instead. I also stayed in a lot of hotels so that UV feature appealed to me. Can also test fake money wiht it

these lights are great keychain lights. Have had few of them on keys for 18 months probably and no issues. well built and bright for it's size. hard to go wrong for $5.

I prefer the USB rechargeable version of this flashlight over the AAA battery one. Like most people, I have tons of flashlights around the house but having problem finding one when I need it. The keychain flashlight is handy because I always know where my keys are. The ones I have are super bright for such tiny flashlights and they have those on similar deal couple times a year.

I had it on keychain. And it unscrewed and lost the part that works. So I just had the barrel that holds the battery.
Yea the rechargeable one is better.

Why not $5 + free shipping?
They hope you will find something else to buy to earn the free shipping.

I have done that once, so far. Every other time I just spend the $5 for another little pocket flashlight. Most of my lights are rechargeable but I like the option of having some battery powered lights. Plus no worries when I give one to my nieces and it ends up lost.

These are stiff enough to twist that they don't seem to have a problem moving enough to turn them on as long as you get the feel for where to leave it. I twist mine 180 degrees, which can be done in one motion and never had a problem with it coming on or undone. But I could see it coming on if only barely twisted enough to turn it off or popping off if unscrewed too far. A 180 degree twist seemed to be the perfect point for mine. Mine takes six half-twists (180 degrees) before the top pops off, so it never seems to come close to that on its own.

I wanted one of their Arkfeld lights for a while but couldn't decide between the one with laser or the one with UV. Conveniently the new one has all 3 so I finally pulled the trigger. Not that I need a $50 flashlight, but it IS a pretty cool toy Big Grin
