I am looking to apply for one, which one should I get - Plus, Premier or Priority? Not a big traveller, just for casual travel, maybe once a year.
not sure if worth getting traveling once per year, you can get more rewards from other credit cards where you can use points towards flying with different airliners, like Chase freedom or sipphire

What is the best method to time this correctly if you are aiming for the companion pass? Sign up around November then finish the $3k spend in January? Maybe apply for the business card slightly before the personal card? Thanks.
that's what I'm wondering. I know there's another thread on this site specifically about that but it's not a great deal, just their normal one. I don't want to bite on this and have a great CP offer come up like it sometimes does this time of the year.

That's how it was last year for a potential 75k for card holder + 20K for referrer.

I am going to check back over the next few days to see if it shows up on the chase refer a friend page. So far, it has not. I don't know. I hope so.

I have also tried a few times but comes up 50k for me as well with 20k for referrer. At some point I'll give up and just take the 75k but 95k sure would be nice between the wife and I.

Check back...because I checked earlier today and, viola!, the referrals are now working for the 75k offer from the Chase Landing Page, so the referrer gets 20k and the applicant gets 75k.

I've been doing this a long time.
IMO, this is the best deal you are going to get for a while on the individual card and it is only active for another month.

If you want the 2 year companion pass (and not some gimmicky 3 month version), do this now.

Then, apply for the Biz next

That will get you there.

Normally, I would apply for the biz first, but the way things are currently, I think you are better off applying for the personal.... wait until late dec or early Jan to apply for the biz --- and TARGET early 2024 for all points to hit.

That is what I would do in your shoes.

Good luck either way

Awesome. Had my wife send me the link again last night and this time 75k for signing up and 20k for her. Thanks for the heads up!

How long should I wait after applying for 1 card to apply the second card?

If you are talking Individual, then Biz or Biz then Individual, I would normally wait 31 days or more -- but some people do it on the same day.

I am just more conservative. I also don't want to have to spend both minimums concurrently.

The conventional thinking is that biz is harder to get approved on so some people like to apply for the Biz card first -- then the individual card. I agree generally with that, but where there is an offer such as this, I feel otherwise.

Biz card plus the standard offer on the personal card is enough to get you to a CP though. So if spend is an issue ($5k on biz card, $3k on personal card with this deal vs $1k on the normal deal), it may be worth waiting for this deal to expire.

For me, $6k is easier to attain when doing both card simultaneously,

So my wife got the got the individual card and business card last November. Unfortunately we thought we had hit the spending on the business card for the points but we missed it. Is there a way we can take advantage this year and get the business card points?

I recently canceled the regular SW card after 1 year of use. Can I apply for the business card or the other personal card?
