Looks interesting. Wondering what the advantage of an inflatable tent it. Better insulation in the cold? One of the reviews says it has a proprietary inflation valve. If you're trying to use a powered inflator/deflator, you may be out of luck.

karrun Good point. I saw a review that mentioned that but they said it didn't cause problems with the inflation. The user did say they had issues with the deflation - that is was hard to get completely deflated so it would fit back into the bag.

Going to give it a try. The ease of setup and tear down is intriguing.

The straps that go across the flooring area look like they would be really annoying. I assume you have to have them since there is no rigid structure, but all I see are constant tripping hazards.

It has nothing to do with insulation. The inflation channels replace the poles. You inflate, it pops up. Deflate, it goes down.

In calm weather it might be ok, but I'm not sure how it would hold up in the wind. I personally don't buy that this would hold up well.

This is a slick deal I'll be skipping. Maybe someone has a good use case here but not for me and not for $100.

Hard pass. that thing looks flimsy as hell. lol.
From the video, it looks like it can barely support itself.
One leak and it's toast anyway. stupid idea.

That video says it all. This is like inventing an oven to to be more convenient than a microwave. Going backwards.

It looks "more" time consuming than poles and "less" stable in any winds. They should close 'em out at $15 for backyard parties.

No personal experience, but it *looks* like it might be the standard SUP inflator adapter, so not necessarily proprietary, but you want to make sure you have it before you show up to the beach. Made that mistake once with an SUP

Looks like only the pillars are inflated and the siding is just standard material. So no insulation benefit from what I see.

You wouldn't get any insulation benefit from a purely air chamber anyways. The chamber just follows the temperature of the ambient air. It's similar to how regular inflatable mattresses are colder than a thinner insulated sleeping pad made for camping.

No benefit and not insulating at all. It's a solution looking for a problem.

This will spend 1000x more time in a landfill after its first little leak than it will actually being used. What a waste...and I'm not even an environmentalist.
