1. Cost of capital as exploded (by a factor of 10x or more)
2. Auto strikes have created inventory gluts (Manufacturers built tons of extra cars to 'last through' the strikes)
3. .Gov is about to drop a $7,5000 cap cost reduction on every single EV on the market on Jan
1. You will see that inventory evaporate in about a month.
It's funny when people don't know how to read context.

Point - you'll probably still want a small inverter generator for longer or life-threatening winter outages, dual fuel if possible. ~1600W continuous is good (similar to this D2), but 3200W continuous is best to just casually handle pretty quick recharging rates/pass-through rates for a 120V AC inverter/battery backup/solar MPPT charge controller system like this.
I had 2x 455W panels fed into my D2 on the 2nd day of an outage which definitely helped 'catch' up (having just a tiny '800W' continuous generator at the time). As a note, the 2 panels were run parallel and within rated input voltage range - 500W mppt charge controller in the D2 handles the rest. When overpaneled like this, MPPT charge controllers take what they can and you tend to collect more solar power overall, for longer, in lower light. Would be nice if they had a ~1000W mppt to roughly match what it can charge at via 120V AC. Gotta step up to the ~$3000 Delta Pro for bigger solar input voltage/wattage, at least from Ecoflow.

I wouldn't have had such a negative experience… this would be a good deal.
