Why not get biodegradable and home compostable bags? Too much plastic trash…

I was using biodegradable, then read that it won't in a landfill. Landfills are anaerobic because they pack them down tight, so it will lack light and oxygen to aid in decomposition.

Correct. You need home compostable ones, which are different than just compostable. Check for the ASTM label.

There are supposedly landfill biodegradable ones but I haven't researched yet.
