Picked 3 of these up at this price (less the Amex credit) mid October. I've been extremely impressed with the quality at the price.

The only suboptimal things are that they ship with an HDMI cable rather than DP and the stand, while adjustable, doesn't have as much flexibility as I'm used to.

Will probably pick up one or two more.

As in a power brick, monitor has a C13 power connector, so power supply is built into the monitor

If you're using this monitor (or any other sub-4k monitor) with an Apple silicon-based Mac download MonitorControl and turn on the HiDPI scaling. Mac OS doesn't apply HiDPI scaling by default on anything smaller than 4k which produces a pretty poor image. This improves the picture dramatically.

That said, I'll be returning these. Even with the scaling fixed the colors were sub-par. I picked up a pair of LG 27UP600 displays for $229 each at Best Buy instead and they look dramatically better to my eye.

You guys are the best. Smilie

I unpacked and installed the SE2723DS again! To try the HiDPI setting! It is available via the BetterDisplay application (which seems a real gem!)

Yes, it makes the text in native resolution (2560x1440) so much better. It's dramatic!

Unfortunately (for SE2723DS), my S2721QS shows much better results. And when I set 4k S2721QS to 2304x1296, the text looks magical.

Thank you for the recommendations, but I will stick with S2721QS and BetterDisplay. Smilie

Initiated return, doesn't work with Mac m2 pro, display doesn't wakeup and had a dead pixel on arrival, returned dell docking station aswell they can't do dual monitor setup on thunderbolt ports, this monitor might work on windows as standalone when connected directly hdmi to hdmi but now a days most laptops has only one hdmi port and adding docking stations adds another layer of complications. looks like any dell monitor will have same sort of issues with Mac, tech support are not helpful, I mean they have standalone answer which is " this monitor is designed and tested to work with windows " I mean they are not wrong but for a monitor everyone expects it to be universal unless its apple . but good luck

So, you give Apple a pass when they make products that *only* work with Apple products, at 2-3x the price, but chastise Dell for not designing for Apple? Get a grip man.

Question for anyone who can help: I have work laptop Dell vostro and I'm using low quality 1080p monitor. I wanted to get a nice display that would not strain my eyes looking at documents all day. I checked under display driver and it just says Intel UHD Graphics but no version, just a driver version. Is it safe to assume UHD means it'll supports up to 4k even without knowing the version? Also, if I'm using one window on laptop for video conferences and the spreadsheet on the monitor, I'm assuming due to difference in resolution, every time I open spreadsheet and drag into the monitor screen I'll have change scaling so it's not small text? Thanks. I know these are probably basic questions but just started new job working from home. Not used to this setup and I want to make sure if I get a new monitor my company isn't paying for, I'll benefit from it

Can this rotate ? And has VESA mount?
It does have a VESA mount. The stand does not rotate. Nice monitor, but not a fan of the limited stand.

My Apple Cinema Display works on dell xps, just needed a thunderbolt adapter, so can you point me an adapter that can make dell monitor work on Mac? may be I can get a grip, anyways dont want to waste my time making my point here, I just shared my experience with the monitor so that it can be helpful for other users , just returned it! Good luck

Can this monitor be mounted vertically? I didn't see a stand spec for rotating 90deg.

It's a desktop interface skin over Android where you can use your phone apps and documents anywhere on a bigger screen as long as you have monitor, keyboard and mouse.

I bought two of these for my wfh setup. My question is would I have been better off buying "Dell 27 Gaming Monitor - G2723H" which is also $150 each? I don't do any graphic editing or anything like that, just basic office work. I do game every once in a while however. Thanks in advance!
