i have 3 different ryobi glue guns. The large one, medium one and this one. Each one has its purpose and you need to know their uses and limitations. The small one my wife uses all the time for her crafts and the medium one as well. It works great on fabrics, delicate items and where precision is needed. That's what this one is for. The large one works great if you use the right type of glue instead of the Elmer's glue sticks that we all know about. There are different types of glues out there that have stronger hold and bonding for metals wood's and plastics. They also require higher melting temperatures and the large glue gun has no problems melting those sticks. Most of the complaints are because people are using paper glue expecting it to hold wood and metal together in freezing temperatures.

The screw driver is the only useful tool a n d maybe just maybe the flashlight.

The rotary is too bulky for any fine detail that small tool like this actually used for and with better options makes the rotary useless.

The glue gun... really that battery would be dead in no time if you are really going to use this glue gun on any real project. Better off with the mini glue gun that works with the 18V batteries for longevity.

I'd take the screwdriver at a good price and find use for the flashlight. But I've got to wonder if the rotary tool is any better than my corded one and that glue gun seems like a horrible design.

Doesn't seem worth $99 to me.

Yeah I have this one and the other Ryobi glue gun 18v cordless. I would go back to the cordless one everytime.

If the little one sucks then they both do. The one with the stand that holds the battery sits there and weeps glue. Kind of a deal breaker.

No, this is all sold as a single item. If it's not an individual item on the receipt it can't be returned as an individual item.

Lots of hate in the comments but I'm pretty tempted by this. I don't really use glue guns but the light, screwdriver, and rotary tool seem like they could come in handy for little light-duty tasks around the house. Especially if the magnetic base of the light is actually strong enough to hold it at least vertically…I've used way too many magnetic base lights that, at best, offer a bit of stability when used on a close-to-flat surface.

What rotary tool is the best size? I have a corded Dremel and it's about this size and it doesn't feel too clunky other than needing to navigate with the cord. I just like the idea of a cordless one.

Well Dremel is the best rotary tool. I use that with the flex shaft found here >
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Dreme.../317719721
Dremel also has some cordless Rotaries but they look too big and bulky for detail or fine work.

And when I need or want to go cordless or just need a simple desktop Rotary for a project and since I am in the 18V Ryboi Eco-system I really like using the following >

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../308176530

Which can be bought in various deals or packages that HD may run.

Or this one >

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../313948579

for a compact 18V Rotary. However I don't own this one so I cannot say anything about it and it only gets 4 stars so it shouldn't be too bad.

the guy is holding it wrong. you are supposed to hold it like how to hold a pen and use your thumb to push the level it down.
