It's already known the screwdriver is pitiful, but does the 4 volt dremel have enough power to do much of anything?

Yes the rotary tool is good. And correct on the screwdriver - that's trash.

Need experienced voice here:

Ryobi power tool owner here with almost complete tool set for any home projects you can imagine. (yeh, most of them sit idly, catching dust).

Hesitate to add this so-called "USB Lithium system" into my tool box. Understand the benefits are small, lighter, and even more portable. But for most of what I need and considering how in-frequently I use them, I don't appreciate "MORE" portability. For example, I do own hot glue gan, light and rotary tool. Power drill can do better job than screwdriver assuming it has better torque control.

All in all, I don't see a reason to duplicate my investment yet gain little. Am I missing something? What's the main reason you would be willing to buy them?

these are for small projects. think a lot of hobby type stuff more than home improvement. There is some crossover of course.

i bought the battery powered dremel and love it, but don't have much interest in the other tools unless they are a lot cheaper.

What is the actual price of this on a normal day? $255 is laughable… still seems to high at $99…

This. These are for furniture assembly and random little stuff around the house. These are not for any major projects or even medium projects for that matter. But I like them for little stuff and find most the tools in this series helpful in their own right. I bought this kit last year at this price and don't regret it.

Is the dremel reversible? I've got one for dog nails, and because i can't reverse it, you get into some really awkward positions getting some of the nails.

I can't wait to get mine. I really like the flashlight I already have so adding a few more of the USB devices is appealing. I don't expect them to be a staple in the garage but they will be perfect post processing my 3d prints and my wife's crafting. Thanks OP.
