$25+fee/month if adding a new line. Technically more than $600 after 2 years for iPhone 13 if you don't need the extra line...

I read somewhere it's $10 for line and $15 added now for unlimited data. You can call and remove/downgrade data. It's how they justify the bump to $25

Simple Choice is a grandfathered plan that was different for different people depending when they signed up. According to TMOBILE for the Simple Choice plans.....

If anyone is adding a line to there Simple Choice the fees and features will be based on the ORIGINAL deal when signing up.

So for those that got the $10 add a line( plus taxes and fees) under the original deal of 2gb of Data... that is what you will get for the $10.

If you originally did the $10 add a line and paid extra for MORE data such as 6Gb fee or whatever you picked, then those will be your fees up to $15 extra for data.

Tmobile IS honoring your original deal.... but just not the FREEBIE they gave everyone after the fact , of upgrading free to unlimited. So for those that Want the deal for $10 plus taxes and fees for $10..... they can get that but it's the ORIGINAL signed deal of 2GB data
Not true. You may still be able to get upgraded to unlimited with the right rep

Not sure why I can't edit my first post but here's me being upgraded to unlimited from 10gb. There's also a buy 1 get one line free on T-Mobile. Line discount id 230152. I got my second line free and upgraded to unlimited.

Kinda wish I did 2gb instead of 10gb initially but who knew T-Mobile was going to upgrade everyone to unlimited. I pay around 25/line after taxes with government discount. The lower plans upgraded to unlimited with free lines are getting great value per line.

Edit: I also did the iPhone 13 deal to port my brother in 2 weeks that's why I had new lines updated to unlimited. Should've posted it on Slickdeals haha. There's also an a54 for $99 add a line promo which I used on the free line.

had simple choice 10gb plan with 4 lines since 2014. upgraded to unlimited on 4/2021. added a free (5th) line for free back in 2022.

I don't want free lines anymore. Just a good phone deal on my simple choice grandfathered plan.

Okey dokey great for those that can talk a rep into something... I was just CLARIFYING the actual deal Tmobile was offering, not what a person could try and slick them out of! So actually was a TRUE comment that I posted.

I did that recently which is about to make me cut ties with them. Asked the chat rep if i can add at $10 for the new line, they said they can remove the extra $15 but once added. I get the extra $15 every month and chat them to get it removed, every time they promise it won't be on my next bill, but they lie every time and keep it cool. Used to add lines for $10 no problem, I guess they don't want me and my old family plan anymore
Last time i tried to add a line to my simple choice plan, they will not give me $10 per line anymore. The limit was always max 10 lines at $10.
I raised this issue with the t-force and all they basically said is 'sorry it is what it is'. I find t-mobile is being unethical lately. They said they will grandfather and honor our plan but…. They either limit you from adding a line with the same rate you used to get, or find other ways to get you to pay more.
I am just waiting for the day I'll get so fed up and bring my business elsewhere.

2 year old phone plus another 2 years to unlock. No thanks! I'll pass!
You don't have to wait 2 years to unlock. I always unlock the new phones within the first week. But then I never leave Tmobile and they can see that lol.

$160 (including taxes) for 10 voice lines on SC with unlimited 5G data and North America calling/roaming. Is it really true that these old SC plans don't allow more than 10 voice lines?

I have been with T for over 10 years and they refused to unlock until it was paid off. It must depend on your rep.

Not applicable for my simple choice plan and it has to be some of the Go5g plans.

I want to take a new line, avail the iPhone and Costco $400 with the simple Choice grandfathered plan. Please advise if it is possible.

If you go to page 11 the 2nd comment explains this account in details. I'll resume it for you. This is a grandfather account no longer offered by T-Mobile.
