I'm too tired to think this out, so what is the minimal buy-and-get-out with a phone on this?

Can you confirm that the pay off price will be $36? Usually on device payment plans you get a monthly credit and have to pay off the remaining retail balance to cancel. I don't see a monthly credit so I'm guessing this might be different but wanted to double check first.

Why would you pay for 60 days service and activation... instead of 3 days and no activation?

Unlocking happens either way in 60 days.

Wasted time to unblock at credit bureaus. Still getting message"You are currently not eligible for device financing. Please contact your carrier." wasted an hour of morning

Device $36 + activation $35 + minimum charge for two months $65x2, total comes around $201. Not really a good deal considering the qvc tracfone deal.

Great deal if you're already in Verizon.

Unless you have a Verizon account, the site doesnt allow you to checkout without activation and plan.

Had an A13 on one line already, upgraded to this A53 and my total was $2.97 during walmart online checkout. 36monthly payments of $1. Didn't see any mention of an upgrade fee?

What is att trick?
For iPhone flex policy only, insert a dead att sim, phone is locked to att. Go to att unlock page, request unlock as non att user. Phone is unlocked on day 1. This probably won't work for sammy.

I think I put verizon sim in it already. we are with Verizon so if need be, we can get it unlocked later. Not risking att lock. I think because of walmart-vzw goofup it didn't register/unlock after 60 days even though I remember putting in verizon sim for a short period. No biggie.

This is what I got for new line https://ibb.co/WVFjtY1. This is without the $36 for the device and $65 for second month.

New account,

1) Can I payoff he phone and cancel the plan same time(within 3rd day), when I visit version store?
2) Also when I pay off and cancel I would be entitled to pay $36 plus the porated planfee($5-10$) and tax correct?
3) any specific plan to be chosen?

Thanks in advance

Anybody else see this while signing up for new Verizon account? "You are currently not eligible for device financing"

I have Verizon postpaid with a legacy truly unlimited, un-throttled, and un-deprioritized service I want to keep. Usually they do not allow upgrade without changing plan. Can I order a new line, cancel in 3 days, and and move my old SIM to this phone and pay off the phone at Verizon store and pay just the prorated 3 days of service plus taxes (around $41 if I follow) and keep the new phone?

Just curious.
Can anyone confirm if we need to open and turn on the phone for it to be unlocked after 60 days?

Can i just let the box sit for 60 days, and when i open post the 60 day period, the device will be unlocked automatically ? Like i can connect any sim immediately ? Or do we need to follow some process like connect to wifi and go to device unlock process.
