I have one of these. They are fairly weak, but for $50 you do get to fill out your bottom end. Audiophiles need not apply.
I have one paired with some B&W 601 bookshelves though my little Aiyima amp to give them a boost.
It is rather large for the output if you ask me, as you can imagine from my setup that I was going for a micro system.

Only down to 50 hz? A pair of bookshelf speakers with 6.5" woofers will do just fine. Please get something like a Dayton Sub-1200 over this.

I expect it would behoove you to save your $50 and buy a significantly better sub for $150. If you like subs that make farty noises, by all means go buy this one.

Decent little sub for a 2.1 setup. I have one of these hooked up with the speaker level input from a Sony STR-DH190 paired with a set of Fluance bookshelves, mostly listening with a turntable or streaming through a Fosi DAC. Sounds fantastic, adds a real bottom end boost that passive bookshelf speakers just can't generate. I did find that I could hear a very slight buzz if I have my ear right up to it, but from two feet away it's inaudible, which is farther away from me than the sub is, so I don't care.

If you just want to add some low end to a music setup, it's great for that.

For $50 I'll give it a shot. It has 2000 reviews at 4.5 stars on Amazon. Usually goes for around $80-90ish and $50 is the cheapest it has ever gone.

I was debating whether or not to use a subwoofer at all with my Micca RB42 bookshelf speakers + Tosi amp for use with a music and gaming PC. A lot of the time I have the sub turned down anyway, especially at night, because it travels so easily over distance and through walls

Picked up a few last time and had to send them both back because of noisy amps. I would have sent them back anyway because they are extremely weak. My advice is to grab something on the used market for the same price. I've picked up quite a few nice subs for $50.00 and under including models from Velodyne, NHT, Polk and Paradigm.
