You're looking at it the wrong way. This isn't a smart watch, it's a fitness tracker. For me, as a cyclist, it doubles as a cycling computer, I can pair my power meter to it, the shifters, cassette, speed and cadence sensors. It calculates TSS, VO2 max, recovery times. Name one phone that can do that.
The main issue I have with Garmin is the weight. It's too darn heavy! I use Amazefit due to light weight. If they can do light weight I would be ready to puchase.
Current Owners - Have you worn this to bed? If so are they comfortable for all night?
I've used every night for several years, sometimes i need to rotate it (watch face on the inside of the arm) It's big and tall so it takes a bit of getting used to it

I would have been taxed. $464 final. Health monitoring features would be neat, I just can't talk myself into doing this when I generally always have my phone with me. Lack of speaker, mic and LTE mean I'd be much less likely to leave it behind... Great find on the price though! I just don't get how it's retailing for around the same as a phone. It's a 3rd of the size and does maybe a 10th of the things.

I have a Fenix 6 Pro which is about the same size. I sleep with it almost every night and have no problem. Obviously took a little getting used too. But now I leave it on all the time pretty much.

The features that you are looking are on the Galaxy watch 6 or 5 pro LTE. I have GW 5 pro LTE and Fenix 6 pro. The GW5 pro LTE is great for what you described. The Fenix is more fitness oriented and incredibly accurate with the fitness features compared to the GW 5. I tend to cycle between the two watches depending on which features I want at the time.

Thank you! I like the weight and feel of a venu 3 still debating as this is a lot of watch for the price and it looks gorgeous from pictures. I am a daily person who wants to be more active with HIit, yoga and meditation. Bike with kids etc
