I'm looking for a good laptop, and I'm new to Lenovo. Is this a good deal overall or should I wait? so far comparing some other deals on BestBuy and on SD, this seems to be pretty good. Thanks for any info.

If you don't care about the chip, that is Intel vs AMD, then AMD variant of this is available for cheaper.
But if you can wait within/for a month more, this deal or similar deals might be available for a bit less.

As always, YMMV, but I think it is a solid laptop. If you can wait to pick it up for even cheaper it will just be that much of a better deal.
PROS: Very good laptop, really nice screen and the CPU/GPU can run pretty much everything at 1080p max settings. It's a 3070 so I didn't expect more.
CONS: This thing is freakin HEAVY. 5.5 lbs, they don't tell you the power supply is 300w and almost 2 lbs.
Adding both of these in a backpack with a controller or two feels like carrying a bag of bricks. I hate taking it out of the house.
I would recommend this laptop but if you want something light and travel friendly, this ain't it.
edit to add: forgot to say that it sounds like a jet engine and blows a ton of hot air in performance mode.
