Running a 1500W space heater for an hour costs roughly 20 cents in terms of electricity consumption.

For example, using a space heater with this wattage for 8 hours would cost, on average, $1.50-2.00. So approximately $45-60/month for 8 hours of daily use.

OMG. Did I miss that one? That must've been the GiveBetter one everyone raved about, with increased enthusiasm that plateaued.

Yeah. 1.5kW is a lot of energy. About the size of the small/medium AC (for the entire house).
Are you serious? These things use as much electricity as a whole house furnace?

I can't get it to $11.99. I applied the 10% and used the code but it's still over $20

You don't leave these on like you leave on an AC though. These bad boys will heat up a small room in 15 mins and then you switch them off because it gets too warm.

I've been looking for one of these after I gave my last one away to a family member.
I have amazon prime, and was able to get deal down to $12 with free delivery this afternoon. Thanks OP!

the response was not serious. Nothing is capable of zero energy usage while providing heat. in fact, heat is a form of energy.
