I know you can get better value with trade ins, but if you're someone who doesn't already have a tablet to trade in to Samsung, this doesn't seem like a bad deal for the latest Tab line that came out just a couple of months ago, just need to play the open-box lottery. I didn't think the $75gc offer would work on an open box but it showed up in the cart and they wanted to confirm my email so they can send it when it ships. Brings the overall value to around $650 (35% off), seems pretty good if you're looking for the latest Galaxy Tab.

Last year, around this time, Samsung was offering $200 trade in credit for Any Galaxy Tab Any Condition when buying certain tablets like the S7 FE.

I saw one at BestBuy in my area for $639 - Fair with S-pen.
I placed an order then when I picked it up, it was just the tablet without any accessories or at least the S-Pen as they described. Of course, I'm not willing to spend almost $700 for that. So I request for a refund right away at the scene and Best Buy still gave me $75 gift card that comes with the order. Perhaps, for time and gas that I spent.
