As long as the wood is sealed, it's fine. The only thing you should use is water with a bit of vinegar on real wood floors. Never oil soap polish etc.

Bought this, tried this, and like it. My hardwood floors are vacuumed by a robot 3x weekly and mopped once every few weeks (o-cedar). When I tried this mop, it picks up a lot more than I expected. Wow! I have no pets, no kids, so low traffic. Imagine a real household! The mop doesn't exactly push around without effort but that's nature of the beast if you want to clean anything. Elbow grease. Worth it!
