A typical American 2-story gutter will be 20' high, then you have to add about a foot to account for the lean of the ladder and another foot to go above the gutter, so a ladder that is actually 22' long should be needed. (add a couple more feet if you want to be able to safely get on the roof)

However, a 22' Gorilla ladder is really only 19' tall, so you'll probably need a ladder that advertises a 25'-26' reach to safely reach a 2nd story gutter.

This thing is totally awesome. I haven't seen it this cheap in a few years I think.

Only thing better is the 21 foot version for $120. Only saw that once a few years ago. Doesn't look like it will return.

But to be useful for a second story (e.g.) gutter I'd need 22', correct?

I do want to upgrade my ladder, but I would prefer to cover all my bases with one, not have to buy two. Tho this is tempting.

Most likely. I bought this last year (same price) and it's a stretch to reach some motion sensor lights that are about a foot below my 2nd story gutters. I wouldnt feel comfortable, and can't reach any higher.

Ordered for delivery to my door tomorrow. I've been using an old Krause multi-ladder (basically very similar to this one) for 25 years. Unfortunately, this ladder was recalled decades ago and Krause went OOB.

It was time to replace it ...
