This is the same one as the one on Lego.com for 200 a couple weeks ago right? There was an SD post for it and people said it was a really good deal
The lego deal was slightly better if you value lego points the same.
With amazon prime card 6%, amazon's price is: $140.97
Lego's price was 187.49 with cash back = 168.74 - 20 (points) - 15 (two GWPs, using a low price) = 133.74 (plus I purchased lego gcs through amazon for 5% cc cash back, so another 9.37 off = 124.37
Anyone have this and can comment on whether age appropriate for a 6 year old?
A six year old with the patience of a saint, maybe. This is essentially a 40"x25" mosaic of tiny studs that you build up out of smaller squares. It's doable, but not a typical six year olds idea of fun. Mine will barely sit long enough for one bag of a Lego set they are interested in.

Its a lot of small 1x1 dots that can be tedious at times. Not really a fun build as its probably seen as repetitive, but the end result is pretty cool.
11600+ pieces!!!
Employee 1: Boss, what are we going to do with these useless surplus of 1 billion single dots?
Boss: I know, let's make a "3D" map, and sell the kit for $$
Employee 2: Nice! You'll probably get a raise for this!

ah I see. I also mispoke. It was $200 including taxes, and $187 for the world map (plus 2 other small sets). i purchased it from Lego. it was my first purchase from there actually so i don't really know how to use the points
also, isn't the prime card 5% and not 6%? not sure if that was a typo or if i'm mizzing something here.
