Today's increased electronic demands have outgrown this. Given the reduced watts, it simply won't charge a Google Watch 2, takes forever for many usb-c devices like a OnePlus or Pixel phone.
Unfortunately, it seemed exceedingly difficult to find a UL Listed desktop USB hub these days.
