K-cups are never slick deals, even when they are on huge sales. It's always cheaper to buy the coffee grounds in cans/bags and put them in reusable k-cups yourself.

I tried that before buying large coffee ground bags and putting them in air sealed Balls Jar and air sealed zip bags and freeze them after a few weeks the coffee are not fresh anymore. You open them up eventually to use them daily and each time oxygen get to it , you lose the freshness.

As a data point, bought the 84 pack in March for $20 or 23.8 cents/cup. So this a warm deal for MCD coffee

You pay for the convenience of not having to fill and wash - of course your way is better for the environment and is cheaper


Btw, McCafe is very good coffee, its one of my favorites. Trying to deplete some existing stock of other coffee before I order more


Costco finally started carrying this , its $30 for 72, guessing it will go on sale soon - not better than this just closer
