Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

The L Thinkpads are less prestigious than the T Thinkpads. Upgradeable RAM on this model is nice. Would like a newer processor and a better screen.

At this price I would go with the Yoga 7i - better screen, stylus capable, bigger battery. https://slickdeals.net/f/17024338-lenovo-yoga-7i-14-2-2k-ips-touch-i5-1335u-16gb-lpddr5-512gb-ssd-599-99

What's the difference between Lenovo's T vs L series?

As I mentioned in that thread, I haven't heard much about hinge issues with the Yoga 7i. Lenovo has a Yoga 6, 7, and 9 series, and an Ideapad 5 Yoga series. The issues are mostly with the Ideapad and some of the Yoga 6. It's like Thinkpad has E, L, T, P, Z. We can't treat them all the same because they are built differently due to market segmentation.

Reddit said otherwise. Still known issues with no help from Lenovo....

This is never a $2700 laptop. Specs match what I would expect for $600. No level of build quality would put this above $800. Do not be fooled.

Every component is basically a single step up from a Chromebook.

I Have this laptop I feel that the new L14 is made from weaker material, as well as slightly thicker than my old L380, or the T series,
I haven't dropped it but i feel the material is more plastic.

Maybe with the price you can get X1 nano, its at a similar price, a better build main downside is the ram is single slot and i think soldered, and the ssd is the short one.

Also Lenovo would have offers on the L13 for $100 less

Can supposedly take a better beating , water spills, drops, etc... more harden plastic or a metal skeleton.
