Unfortunately, specs suggest 250 nits display brightness rather than possible 400 nits. The 400 nits display would definitely make this deal worth a look. From hp.com:

Yes, it's upgradeable. Bought one this week, open 4 screws with Philips head and swapped up the 4GB with 8 GB so I have total 16GB now. Easy as pie!!
