I had an offer for spending $100 twice and get $25 circle earnings. I only spent $96 each using my red card. But it did complete my offer. So they use the price before discount for calculating offers.

Watch to make sure you get the 5% discount with your $100 order if you use your Red Card. There is a glitch and it only reduces by $4 charging $96 vs $95 to my card. Open a chat and they will adjust. They actually issued a $5 Target gift card for the error so a win overall.

You conned a naive rep. It isn't a glitch or an error. Target gift cards do not get the 5% discount -- you are buying a $100 product for $80 and a $20 Target gift card for $20. The 5% discount applies to the $80 you are spending on eligible merchandise.

Yes it IS true.

There are 2 types of Happy cards. The first are the direct redeem ones you mention. The other type are like these where you MUST first go online and shop for partner GC.

It's easy to tell the difference - the ones that have to be redeemed online will say "ONLINE EXCHANGE REQUIRED" as these ones do on the front.

No, you cannot purchase a gift card with Target gift cards or Circle earnings.

Does anyone know if this sale will happen again? It doesnt have to be Target just anywhere that has discounted Lowes gift cards? I would of course love a 20% savings but 15% is fine too. I have a bunch of home repairs and want to buy a dishwasher and was only able to get 3 gift cards last sale. Thanks!

I bought into this deal and it appears there is a major technical issue. I exchanged the $100 "Happy" giftcard for a $100 Lowe's gift card. I just tried to use it and no bueno the gift card is empty. I purchased three of them and all are the same. I'm seeing all kinds of reviews on the Target website that this has happened to others as well. Anyone else had this issue?
