Take a look at the website - rtings.com. They do a ton of TV testing and break everything down in easier to understand teams and have a bunch of tools to help narrow the search. I don't think this Hisense is any good.

Understand that I'm an old guy & know next to nothing about the fancy TV sets these days. I grew up in the '50s when all TVs were plagued with horizontal & vertical roll, with adjustment knobs accordingly, and the largest I recall was 21" and seemingly weighed a ton. This appears to be a real SD. Repped.

I bought a 65 inch from Walmart a few months ago. Delivered perfectly fine. The package was well secured in styrofoam from the manufacturer. Ymmv

I wish it were Android TV instead.
Not with Hisense, you don't. Their implementation of Android/Google TV is just awful and buggy. At least Roku gives it stability.

For $400 and tax you're buying a tv id assume given its size will be your main tv for many years to come? If my son's 50in tv looks like trash what's a bigger version of this going to look like? This is Hisense's lowest end tv you can buy.. it's good marketing adding Dolby vision but it doesn't change the fact it can't display any hdr properly bc it has no brightness no color and motion handling is the worst I've ever seen in my 10 years or so of tv knowledge. What's gonna happen when people setup this massively cheap tv and hate it but can't even return it bc it's too big lol
For $400 no, this would not be for years. $400 is throw away money for most adults. People just need to learn to manage their expectations. For $400, you're not getting a Ferrai but you're not getting a Ford Focus. $400 is a great price. Just get the TV and enjoy it. Personally, I don't over think $400 purchases. But a lot of buyers are treating this $400 75" TV like it's some major life changing purchase. It's not. Just my 2 cents. I have the TV and it's got a great picture and no, I do not use it often. I've watched a few Chiefs games on it and that's about it. I haev Walmart In-home so I get a chance at buying it 3 hours before the public. I don't need anything atm.

I believe U series is supposed to be a higher end line of Hisense. A Series and R series are similar, but one is Google OS and the other is Roku OS.
I own the 75" A65K from Costco, and it does great with movies and TV Shows. There is some backlight bleed in the corners during dark scenes, but I expect that with anything besides an OLED.
The A65K is a better model than the A6H/A65H. Not sure why, but the A65K seems to only be sold at Costco.

You are getting the ford focus that's the point lol. Thinking this tv is say a Lexus is just misinforming thousands of people that are viewing this post because of course people are going to click and see what's up with that big $400 tv.. hell even the guy that owns 30 properties in Kansas probably worth millions is looking hard at this one 😂

Really all I'm saying is this TVs picture quality is horrific.. no color no brightness terrible motion handling. And that Sam's club deal for a few 100 more is the way to go if you're in the market for a big tv now at a great price.
I think rtings over rated this a bit giving it 6/10s pretty much across the board. There are also some decent lg TV deals out there or coming in the big tv category.

Most reviews you're seeing are fake and/or paid reviews. If you look at bb.com everything you see has excellent reviews.

I've never had a problem with TVs delivered from Walmart. The free delivery is one of the best perks of having a Walmart nearby. A guy in an SUV shows up and we both take the box out and that's that. Straight from the nearby store to my porch. Everyone's situation is different, if you're far from a Walmart and there's more shipping involved you may have more problems, but no issue here.

I have this TV from last year and it has plenty of brightness, I've never noticed any motion issues, it has no bleed on the edges, it has an EARC port, the Roku OS is easy to use and not "buggy," movies look great, using it as a PC looks great, I don't see any "degradation" at 60 fps which is the standard for almost all content anyway. The colors are good and can be adjusted anyway, and I don't notice any reflection problems.

Is it perfect? No. If I were a gamer, I'd want a 120 I suppose. Would it show the carefully picked Best Buy in-store marketing videos as well as a top end TV? I bet not. The sound is just okay, but I have a sound bar anyway so who cares. Only the one soundbar port is 2.1, so if you need others for gaming or whatever, it's a no go. But to say this is "unwatchable" like it is some crt from 1958 is hilarious. I had plenty of old crts and this blows anything pre-2015 anyway, including a 15-year old Sony panel I still have (but which is still perfectly watchable, btw).

You always get these guys on these forums, "I must have the best that just came out yesterday!" I see this with video cards, too, "Do I need a 4090 to browse the Internet, or can I get away with a 4070?" It's like anything not being hyped by the manufacturer today to get your top-end dollars is worthless. If you want to spend $3000 on a Sony, WTF are you doing on this thread anyway? It's hilarious to see some of these comments. It's a $400 TV, if you're too high hat for that, I can steer you to some $5000 TVs that you'll be whining about in six months, too.
The Sam's club 75In tv deal is $600 and you get 1000 nits of brightness (this tv can only get as bright as 250), 200+ local dimming zones, hdmi 2.1, all the gaming features, and I think it even supports DV 120hz for gaming. I believe it's also a mini led ? (Don't remember) It's not an oled but it's a very good tv if you're into things like watching tv movies or gaming. If you were a gamer and suppose 120hz isn't important, well .. it just makes it seem you don't know what you're talking about. You also never mentioned motion, this tv can't remove judder. And earc is only capable if you're running everything through arc but it's still hdmi 2.0

Problem with buying TVs from Walmart is that chances are, they will always come with screens cracked. I think it's their warehouse issue. They don't give a damn
Not sure why this is downvoted. This exact thing happened to me. It was a pain to bring the tv back for return.

How was it a pain? Because you had to repackage and load the tv up?

I agree.. but.. whenever I've gotten Walmart packages such as TVs or consoles the shipping box arrived like trash. Could be a fluke could be whatever but no harm no foul. When I was in my teens I worked as a truck loader at a dc and some people pallets or not were very careful others just would throw stuff in the trucks things tipping over and so on
If something arrives damaged, why would it be the company or individuals fault over the shipper if the package is still in factory packaging?

Just wait until you're on the other side, pal. There's been an insane acceleration in technical advancements over the past few decades, and just when you think it's slowing down... BANG! ...suddenly AI showed up. More drastic changes will come when they get quantum computing to be truly usable by the mainstream world. Trust me - by that age your head will be spinning, too.

Humans aren't evolved enough to deal with such a crazy amount of change - why do you think conservatives are constantly trying to drag us back to the stone age? I can't entirely blame them, but trying to get back to that is like trying to put the cork back on the champagne bottle - pretty pointless. Better to just accept reality, and try to find a way to deal with the mess.
Quantum computers will never be a consumer product. By the nature of how they work, it's physically impossible for them to be useful for the tasks we use them for. They're incredible for cryptography and probability calculations, but it's physically impossible for them to be faster than classical computers for the tasks the vast majority of people use them for. For those tasks, a quantum computer would need to run a simulation of a classical computer to perform it, and simulations will always be slower than the real thing. They're revolutionary, but not for what you think they are

It's hilarious that people just vote you down for making a statement. Lots of folks so damn petty these days. I'm sure this'll get downvoted, because, snowflakes.
