It's back! Limited Time Offer!
Your points are worth 10%-50% more
Until 11/30/23 or while supplies last, your Chase points are worth more when you redeem for any product on the Apple® Ultimate Rewards® Store.*
Chase Sapphire Preferred is 25% more.
Chase Freedom Unlimited is 10% more.

For example:
The $1199 iPhone Prom Max is 79,900 points (plus tax if applicable) if you have the Reserve (so retail * 66.7 points). Effectively 1/3 off at a penny per point.
If you have a card with a $99 ish annual fee, I suspect you get 25% extra (so retail * 80 points). Effectively 20% off at a penny per point.
If you have a no-annual-fee card, you likely get 10% extra (so retail * 91 points). About 9% off at a penny per point.

Also worth noting you get extended warranty and purchase protection when you pay with points (you don't when you pay with gift cards).

(also what spend/cards are you using to generate 300-400k annually? Max from a Freedom bonus categories is 30k a year- so only thing I can think of is you're running both a couple of those plus running another 50k through one of the less-easy-to-spend-a-ton-on 5x business categories on an Ink card-- that'd, just, get you to 300k if you max the 50k spend limit in say Office Supplies or something)
If you already have CSP you can't get the CSR until you cancel or downgrade it (and wait a bit)-- you also can't get the CSR bonus unless it's been at least 48 months since you got your CSP bonus.
Lastly there's NO need at all to burn the CSP points now.
Either transfer them to a difference chase UR card if you have one, or simply downgrade your CSP to one of the free cards (a Freedom Flex will be the best option for most, offering 5x UR on quarterly rotating categories up to 7500 points per quarter). Then when you get the CSR you can move the points over to it and get higher value for said points.

Again though it's 48mo since you last received a sapphire bonus- NOT 48 months since you cancelled the card.
Also usually better to downgrade to a useful free card instead of cancel.
Seems a better use of points than a $1200 iphone if you're someone who plans to obtain both things.
(disclaimer- this was Amex points since airline was ANA, but you can similarly get huge outsized values on biz/first class tickets with Chase UR booking through Chase airline partners)... or simply 2-2.5c a point on Hyatts via transfers versus 1.25-1.5c with the portal or this offer depending which card you have- and even coach fares will usually beat 1.25c for CSP/ink preferred holders (though might be closer for CSR holders).
Transfer them direct to Hyatt and you'll get 2-2.5 cents a point pretty trivially - and usually better than at least the 1.25 cents you're getting your way even for coach airline transfers.
Oh and I suppose TECHNICALLY the portal is STILL better than this deal in that if you book an airline ticket via the portal the airline treats it as a cash booking- so you earn miles for the ticket- while you don't (AFAIK) earn anything with apple for using points to buy a phone.
I'm going to have to call in and get the requirements from the horse's mouth. Thank you!

Just took a look at hotels through chase rewards program and it is 25% cheaper to use points than cash. How is that more point efficiency than 25% off an iPhone?
Booking hotels and airfare through Chase portal will give you a nice discount. However, some of the prices are higher than booking directly through hotel/airline sites.
The big savings can be attained by transferring points to partner programs. For example, a room at the Maui Hyatt Regency usually runs around $700 or 25K points. I confirm hotel availability with points and then transfer the Chase points to Hyatt loyalty program (1:1 ratio) for booking. 45K points can get me a $1800 room at Park Hyatt Vendome Paris. 35K points can get me a $1300 room at Grand Hyatt Vail.
Same idea for business/first class tickets. It requires much more planning but can also be purchased by transferring to partner airlines.
Some people may find this wasteful, but I enjoy these luxuries.

So how flexible were those dates? Was it like a last minute deal or were you able to book in advance ? Thanks
I ordered a 512GB iPhone 15 Pro in Black Titanium.
I think sharing what you ordered will help folks get more data on timelines. Different devices probably have different stock (and demand) levels.
