It's back! Limited Time Offer!
Your points are worth 10%-50% more
Until 11/30/23 or while supplies last, your Chase points are worth more when you redeem for any product on the AppleĀ® Ultimate RewardsĀ® Store.*

Chase Sapphire Preferred is 25% more.
Chase Freedom Unlimited is 10% more.

https://ultimaterewardspoints.chase.com/

For example:

The $1199 iPhone Prom Max is 79,900 points (plus tax if applicable) if you have the Reserve (so retail * 66.7 points). Effectively 1/3 off at a penny per point.

If you have a card with a $99 ish annual fee, I suspect you get 25% extra (so retail * 80 points). Effectively 20% off at a penny per point.

If you have a no-annual-fee card, you likely get 10% extra (so retail * 91 points). About 9% off at a penny per point.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

But what if you aren't traveling much and need a new iPhone? Not everyone is looking for a 4 cent pp redemption on a round trip business class flight to Zimbabwe. Why not buy airline gift cards when they go on sale? (Like the recent Southwest cards at Costco).

Also worth noting you get extended warranty and purchase protection when you pay with points (you don't when you pay with gift cards).
You are really better off buying apple gift cards when they have promos or Amex offers to buy Apple giftcards for 20% to 25% off and using the UR points for travel to maximize the value.
I can get an iphone 15 pro for 66,600 points ($660 cash value points)

So how flexible were those dates? Was it like a last minute deal or were you able to book in advance ? Thanks
I booked a year in advance, but there are usually some close-in availabilities if you're flexible.

I think I'm getting 50% off. Is this a good deal? 39,933 points for a 64gb Ipad air? It retails for 599.00 USD

I agree with your comments, but then you really shouldn't have CSR or CSP.
I don't think that's a good take on the CSR. I only take about 10 roundtrip domestic flights a year, and maybe 1 international, and tend to use the points for Chase Travel portal redemptions rather than moving the points around for maximum yield. Across all the benefits I easily net $1000 in points value after the annual fee, plus get frequent usage out of a Sapphire lounge. It's definitely better than anything I could get on a single alternative card.

Am I the optimal user of a CSR to get the most value out of it? No.
Could I put time into optimizing my value further? Sure.

The card has a high net positive value for me, even if I don't spend the additional time and energy to min-max it. I'm glad other people do, but the card isn't a bad choice just because you're not squeezing the full value out of it.

Whether or not you think this UR-Apple deal is a good one in the first place, 'commodity' apple products (for lack of better phrasing) aren't the best usage of UR points in this promo.

By 'commodity' products, I mean devices like the 8/256 MacBook Air's, iPhone SE's, and base storage WiFi-only iPads. Devices that Apple permits retailers/3rd party sellers to advertise and regularly sell below MSRP. The real cash comparison for the points redemption isn't the $599 msrp of a 64gb iPad Air, but rather the $499 that Amazon is selling it for today (or Apple's edu store price - or other discount program - if you claim eligibility for that). Given the Amazon price, you would be getting a 20% discount, not a 50% discount (redeeming your points at a 1.2 cents/point valuation, rather than the 1.5 cents/point they are worth in the travel portal).

I have a sapphire preferred card which gives 25% more value. I transferred my points to a family member who has reserve given 50% more value.

I ordered the M3 Pro 14" for $1999. It came to be ~$1332 or $132,000 points plus 6% tax. Total $1412.6 or $141,260 points. That's ~$700 in savings for a new MacBook. Even if you buy M2 pro off Facebook, it comes out to be cheaper using this deal.

Of course I really needed to upgrade so this deal is a banger for me Smilie

that's not correct though. Waiting xx months after cancelling a card has never been a Chase rule. What their rule does say is that for the Sapphire cards, you have to wait 48 months after the last time you got the signup bonus on a previous Sapphire card.
i had my card since 2018.
Can i apply for another one and get the bonus?
or I have to downgrade my exsisting card?

Downgrade it to one of the Freedom cards, and wait at least 4 days, then apply for a new one.

I ordered IPhone 15 Pro max 256 GB natural titanium on Nov 5th and estimated shipping shows 11/27. Initially, it was showing 4-5 weeks estimate
Update on my end: Shipping time still said 4-6 weeks as of yesterday, but just got an email today saying it was shipped. Pleasant surprise.

If helpful, I ordered an iPhone 15 Pro on the 7th and shipping was estimated at 2-3 weeks but I got a shipping notice today (hooray!)

Also FWIW, I've ordered AirTags and HomePod minis through Chase Rewards before and the stuff comes from a warehouse/destination that has the same return address as when I've ordered directly from Apple.
