yea people dont realize the FE series is a powerful phone, way better than the A5x series samsung phones. An dthe trade in value for the FE phone stays strong even 2-3 years later.

you don't need 180 days service, only pay it for the order, 180 days later after activation, you will be able to get unlocked...

I actually like all the moto phones I've had, but the updates or lack thereof keeps me away

What networks will this phone work on after it can be unlocked?

This seems like a very good buy even to hold and trade-in for like a Galaxy S24 or something when it's released. Would there be any hiccups with something like that?

For example, if I buy this, never use it, and then trade it in sometime early in 2024 to buy an S24 from Best Buy or something, would that be a good strategy? I'm on Verizon, and it sounds like this would be a no-go in terms of using it with Verizon or at least 6 months (if at all.) Hence my thoughts towards trade-in.

EDIT: I just checked Best Buy's website and they don't even have the Galaxy S23 FE listed as a device on their trade-in list... that's not a good sign lol.

From my understanding T-Mobile phones can be used on Metro, but Metro phones cannot be used on T-Mobile.
I saw a post on r3dd!t from someone that was able to use a T-Mobile sim on a metro locked phone. There's no harm in trying.

I'm sure that's why a lot of people are getting this deal. You could trade it in immediately at T-Mobile for $350+ towards an iPhone 15.

i really believe the payment errors are just the luck of the draw, there's no pattern or reasoning to it

Same payment error. I tried on computer and phone, still no luck. I guess some sort of fraud prevention?

This phone is not like the s20 fe or s21 fe, where it has some things better than the s20 or s21 and some things worse. Its all worse than the s23. Its no longer fan edition, its now for everyone...

Thanks, however here's something notable. I just checked Best Buy's website and they don't even have the Galaxy S23 FE listed as a device on their trade-in list. It's not on Verizon's list either. That's not a good sign lol.

I tried resetting the network from the settings on Moto g Stylus 2023, and it worked with t-mobile prepaid. Didn't use it for long, though, thinking it may mess with the unlocking.
